"Umbilicaria: The Belly Button of the World"

 For our discussion, think of a “mutualistic symbiosis, a partnership in which both members benefit from their association“ from your own life.  Think of the “particular gifts” each brought to the union. Those with actual marriages of course can reference those, but I suggest we all look a little beyond the obvious, maybe to a work relationship, a special pet, or even an inanimate object that supplied the “moisture“ for while the other was busy photosynthesizing and providing the “sugar.”
