"Stony the Road"

To prepare for the next round of great people, let’s read “Stony the Road,” by Henry Lewis Gates.  It’s his companion book to the videos on Reconstruction.  And re-watch that video looking for great people to inhale.

Then, I’m thinking we’ll learn about:
Booker T. Washington.
Ida B. Wells
WEB Dubois (who lived into our time).

 And any others you resonate with.
