The Art of Pilgrimage: First Three Chapters

For this Sunday Night’s conversation, January 17, 6:30 pm, I hope you will have had a chance to complete the beginning chapters of The Art of Pilgrimage...

For our conversation will you please give consideration to and bring to our gathering:

1) Some passage, insight, image or bit of wisdom—something you would want to carry with you as you pilgrimage and not forget – something important enough to pack -- from each of the first three chapters: "The Longing"; "The Call"; and "The Departure".

2) Two people from the book with whom you wouldn’t mind sharing a day’s journey along your way.

3) And, if you have selected the path you plan to travel or have begun your journey and are willing, please speak to the Longing and the Calling you may have experienced (or not) for this path…
